Tracy Drakebly | Head of Digital & Special Projects | BLOM BANK s.a.l., Lebanon

Tracy Drakebly, joined BLOM BANK in 2004 as Retail Planning officer, responsible for product development. In 2005, she got promoted to Head of Retail Planning. In 2013 she shifted to become Head of Strategy and then moved on to become Head of Digital & Special projects in 2017. She is also a member of the Digital Board committee.
Mrs. Drakebly has played an active role in several strategic projects within BLOM including HSBC Lebanon acquisitions as well as the launching of many mobile banking services and Retail cards/products. She launched the Digital Platform for Corporate and SME clients in 2018.
Mrs. Drakebly holds a Masters in Management (Mastère Grandes Écoles) from ESCP (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) with emphasis on International Financial Markets and an MBA from ESA (École Supérieure des Affaires – Beyrouth). She also holds a Civil Engineering degree from ESIB (École Supérieure des Ingénieurs de Beyrouth).

Over 20 years Craig Hughes has played a significant part in large digital transformations across several banks.

His working life in the financial service sector has followed a technical path from developer, through designer, development manager, and architect. Along the way, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in retail banking, agile methodologies, core transformations, API integrations and event-driven architectures.
He is a specialist in web-based technologies - he believes this stack provides the ability to deliver powerful and loosely coupled architectures.

2019-2022 he was the Chief Enterprise Architect at Danske Bank. Reporting into the SVP of IT strategy, Craig was responsible for breaking the core banking systems into logical business domains. By creating channel agnostic interfaces, Craig has saved Danske Bank an estimated 7.7M and months in development effort.
